Who we are
SafePal Guide is an independent editorial project covering self-custody crypto wallets, with a particular focus on the SafePal app, extension and hardware ecosystem. We are not a wallet provider, an exchange, or a financial company — we publish guides, explainers and honest reviews aimed at ordinary users trying to navigate crypto without losing their funds to a careless mistake or an avoidable scam.
Why this site exists
Most "wallet content" online is one of two things: thinly rewritten marketing, or AI-generated filler that confuses the basics. We started this resource because we kept seeing the same costly errors — people sending tokens on the wrong network, typing their recovery phrase into fake "login" pages, or trusting a clone app downloaded from an ad. Those mistakes are preventable with clear, honest guidance.
Our approach is deliberately that of an independent auditor, not a cheerleader. We explain how things actually work, we name the risks, and we tell you when a tool isn't right for you.
Our editorial principles
- Security first, always. If advice is convenient but unsafe, we won't give it.
- Honest about downsides. Every tool has trade-offs. We write the cons, not just the pros.
- Plain English. Jargon gets explained the first time it appears.
- Cite the source. For exact product figures we point you to the official site rather than asserting them as our own.
- No financial advice. We explain tools and risks; investment decisions are yours.
How we stay independent (and how we fund this)
This site is free to read. To cover costs, some outbound links — including calls-to-action pointing to third-party wallets and services — are affiliate or sponsored links, marked with nofollow. If you use one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That funding model never changes our security-first stance: we won't recommend something unsafe, and we'll always disclose the relationship.
A note on the SafePal brand
"SafePal" and related names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. We use the name descriptively, to identify and explain the product we're writing about — which is permitted nominative use. We make every effort to distinguish this independent resource from the official product, including a clear disclaimer on every page.
